FDS300 Flame Detector

The MICROPACK FDS300 is a flame detector that has unsurpassed false alarm immunity.

The MICROPACK flame detection range are the safest and most advanced flame detectors on the market today, and their track record on the numerous facilities where they are installed has proven the technology to be robust, even in the harshest of environments.

Unrivalled False Alarm Immunity

Superior false alarm immunity due to the advanced flame detection algorithms employed within the detector. These are able to ignore potential false alarm stimuli and are unaffected by desensitisation sources.

Increased Field of View

The MICROPACK FDS300 has a FM approved 120° horizontal and an 80° vertical field of view. The larger field of view equals greater coverage, potentially reducing the required number of detectors within a system. 

Increased Detection Distance

The MICROPACK FDS300 has a FM approved, increased range of 60m to a 0.1m² n-heptane pan fire.

Essential Features, Reduced Cost

The MICROPACK FDS300 retains the essential features of a market leading flame detector, at a reduced cost. In comparison to the FDS301, the on-board SD card and the live colour video output have been omitted from the design of the FDS300 dramatically lowering the price per unit. The whole FDS product range of flame detectors utilise identical flame detection algorithms and are unrivalled in the marketplace.
